MSU Baseball drops series to Nebraska 2-1, secures victory on senior night

In their last Big Ten season series, MSU Baseball earned one win in three games at McLane Stadium from May 16-18. While the rain-delayed first game was a closely contested three-run affair, games two and three saw the winning team score 11 runs each. MSU hockey capture Big Ten Tournament championship in thriller versus rival Wolverines

MSU hockey captured their first-ever Big Ten Tournament championship after defeating the University of Michigan at Munn Ice Arena on March 23, 2024. With the score tied at the end of regulation, freshman defenseman Patrick Geary would score the overtime game-winner to push the Spartans to victory, 5-4. MSU Hockey advances to Big Ten Tournament final with a 2-1 win over Ohio State

MSU hockey took down Ohio State University 2-1, in the Big Ten hockey tournament semifinal at Munn Ice Arena on Mar. 16, 2024. The Spartans will seek to secure the Big Ten tournament trophy as they advance to the final round, to be played once again on home ice. MSU Men's Basketball Falls to Buckeyes on Last-Second Shot, 60-57

The MSU men's basketball team suffered a deflating loss to the Buckeyes, 60-57 at the Breslin Student Event Center on Feb. 25, 2024. Carrying a 10-point lead into the second half, the Spartans shooting went cold as they missed all seven of their second-half three-point attempts before falling to a last-second shot by Ohio State. Michigan State University's new Alienware MSU Esports Lounge hosted the "Legends" invitational Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament on Feb. 11, 2024. Dive into the event, meet some of the organizers and participants, and explore the future of this exciting new gaming space within the Communication Arts and Sciences Building.

MSU Hockey Overwhelms Michigan Away, Claiming Second Straight Victory

Michigan State University hockey rallied late to defeat University of Michigan, 5-1 at Yost Ice Arena on Feb. 9, 2024. Despite grabbing the early lead, the Wolverines fell 5-1 to the Spartans, as MSU rallied for a dominant victory. MSU Men's Basketball Defeats Rival Michigan 81-62, Securing Izzo's 700th Career Win

Tom Izzo earned his 700th career win as the MSU men's basketball team defeated Michigan at the Breslin Student Event Center on Jan. 30, 2024. Shaking off a slow start, the Spartans outscored the Wolverines in the second half by 21 points to earn the victory against their in-state rivals. MSU Hockey Mounts Thrilling Comeback, Stuns Wolverines in Ann Arbor

MSU hockey pulled off an impressive comeback victory against the Wolverines, 7 goals to 5 at Yost Ice Arena on Jan. 20, 2024. After slipping into a 3 goal deficit, the Spartans would score 6 unanswered goals on their way to a well-earned road win. Spartans Surge in Second Half to Defeat Rutgers 73-55

The Michigan State men's basketball team surged in the second half to defeat the Rutgers, 73-55 at the Breslin Student Events Center on Jan. 14, 2024. Despite a sluggish 36 percent shooting effort in the first half, the Spartans dialed it up in the second, connecting on 53 percent of their shots to overpower the Scarlet Knights and secure the win. The Spartans Take Down No. 6 Baylor In A Commanding 88-64 Victory

After jumping out to an impressive 45-17 lead at halftime, the Spartans would go on to defeat No. 6 Baylor University at the Little Caesars Arena on Dec. 16, 2023. MSU would shoot an impressive 63% from the field and 66.7% from three point range to win in commanding fashion, 88-64. This week's Club Feature of the Week is the Michigan State Esports Club Association. Members gathered at their LAN (local area network) event to discuss the different games they play and how they stay connected to the rest of the MSU community.

MSU Football Shutout by Penn State in 42-0 Loss at Ford Field

Spartans Out of Big Ten Soccer Tournament After Narrow 1-0 Defeat To Ohio State

The Spartans and the Buckeyes faced off in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten men's soccer tournament and Ohio State would narrowly win, 1-0 at DeMartin Stadium on Nov. 3, 2023. The Spartans have only lost 2 times this entire season and each of those losses has come from the Buckeyes — both on Spartan soil and less than 2 weeks apart. No. 4 Michigan State Falls in a Nail-Biter to No. 9 Tennessee, 89-88

Michigan State on the wrong side of history in 49-0 loss to Michigan

Michigan State University won their soccer match against University of Dayton with a score of 1-0 at DeMartin Soccer Complex on Sept. 7, 2023.
